Kate Middleton paid tribute to Sarah Everard at a memorial on Clapham Common yesterday.
Kensington Palace said that Kate was at Clapham Common as she wanted to “pay her respects” to Sarah and her family.
A spokesperson said, “She remembers what is was like to walk around London at night before she was married.”
Organisers of ‘Reclaim These Streets’ previously planned to hold vigils across the country but they were cancelled due to public health concerns.
Ms Everard’s body was found in Ashford, Kent, after being reported missing. Met Police officer Wayne Couzens was arrested on suspicion of her murder and kidnap.
