Mikel Arteta has denied rumours linking him with Barcelona to replace Ronald Koeman as the club’s manager.
Barcelona face their presidential election on Saturday, and Joan Laporta, one of the three presidential candidates, wants to bring Arteta into his managerial board if elected.
On Wednesday morning Arteta rejected the notion of him moving to Barcelona and insisted he will stay at Arsenal.
“Obviously I was raised there as a player and there is always going to be links. But I am fully focused to the job that I have to do here … and I am really enjoying it,” said Arteta
“Today and tomorrow I am the manager of Arsenal Football Club and I am really enjoying it. And I want to do much better than what we have done.”
