P&O Cruises offers UK ‘staycation’ trips this summer

P&O Cruises is offering a range of week-long voyages in the United Kingdom, sailing from Southampton this summer.

The UK’s largest cruise line has cancelled all international voyages until September and will now only travel along the country’s coastal waters.

The announcement came after the British Government said it would gradually lift restrictions following the nation’s successful vaccine rollout.

All passengers with cancelled journeys will automatically receive a Future Cruise Credit up to 125 percent of their ticket, and it will be redeemable to make any new reservation by December 2021 for any cruise on sale at the time of booking.

Paul Ludlow, chief executive of P&O Cruises, said: “While holidays here in the UK will be the first to become a reality we will, of course, gradually see the return of international travel, but first we want guests to be able to enjoy a proper summer holiday at sea with the best in relaxation, entertainment and dining choice.”
