A 16-year-old boy was hit by a car before a gang of four stabbed him to death with a knife on Thursday night in a London street.
The victim, Drekwon Patterson, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital but he succumbed to his wounds the next day.
Police revealed that the suspects have yet to be arrested, but investigations are still ongoing.
Detective Richard Leonard said, “I need to find out more information about a car – a black Ford Mondeo, using registration number YR54 NHN – which was seen on CCTV driving away from the scene and found burnt out in Silver Jubilee Park.
Police commissioner Sara Leach confirmed police have increased patrols across Preston Road where the community is affected by the incident.
