Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has stated he has no interest in punishing his players in the same way that Frank Lampard used to do.
Under the previous coach Frank Lampard, players would be fined £20,000 for being late for training.
Tuchel prefers to not fine the players, allowing senior players to enforce discipline and set out punishments.
The German coach also addressed the video where he is seen lambasting Timo Werner this week and insisted that he is more laid back compared to how he was “ten years ago”.
Tuchel commented: “There was no insult, it was not aggressive. It was very direct, yes… you should have seen me 10 years ago, it was double and triple.”
