Six Chimneys in Wakefield, the Glass Blower and Winter Seam in Castleford and the Blue Bell in Pontefract will be three of JD Wetherspoon’s 394 pubs to be reopened on April 12.
Pubs and restaurants in England are allowed to serve their customers outdoors on the same date as part of the roadmap out of lockdown.
The chain, which has 875 pubs across the UK, including 750 in England, will offer varieties of food within a reduced menu seven days a week from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. but some places will have more stringent restrictions for closing hours.
Customers can purchase and pay with Wetherspoon’s online app, but staff can still receive orders and payments on the table for customers without the app.
Chief executive John Hutson said, “We are looking forward to welcoming our customers and staff back to our pubs.”
